Born in Hornell on Sept. 11, 1919, he was a son of the late Antonio and Rosina Zangrilli Zannieri. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his three brothers, Attorney Louis Zannieri of Hornell, Angelo Zannieri of Norwalk, Ohio and Anthony Zannieri of Los Angeles, Calif and his sister, Rose Marie Zannieri of Rochester.

He was employed by the former Erie Railroad in Hornell for 20 years as and accounting assistant at the old Accounting Bureau that was located at the corner of Loder and Center Streets before it was torn down in the early 1960’s.

His family includes his sister, Grace (Raymond) Aubin of Hamburg; also his nieces, nephews and his good friend, Thomas R. Roselli of Hornell.
To honor his wishes there will be no calling hours. A private funeral and committal service will be held at the convenience of his family at the Bishop & Johnson Funeral Home, Inc., 285 Main St., Hornell, with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating.
