Bill Bishop, Owner – Bill was born and raised in Hornell and is graduate of St. Ann’s School and Hornell High School. He attended Alfred State College where he majored in Business Administration and graduated from the former Simmons School of Embalming and Mortuary Science in Syracuse in 1974.

He is an active member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and attends St. Ann’s Church in Hornell where he serves as a leader and reader. He also is a member of the Liturgy Committee and was instrumental in forming the Bereavement Committee and assists with the annual Memorial Mass for deceased members of the parish each November

Bill is currently a member of the Steuben County Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association and the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA).

He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Hornell Area Chamber of Commerce, the Hornell Erie Federal Credit Union and the Hornell Area Humane Society. He was also a former member of the Hornell Rotary Club and a former member and Past Grand Knight of the Hornell Council Knights of Columbus.

Bill enjoys spending time for a few weeks each year at Keuka Lake as well as Lakeland, Fla. and Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.

Steve DeSanto, Licensed Associate – Steve was born and raised in Hornell and is a graduate of Hornell High School and Simmons Institute of Mortuary Science in 1995. He lives in Hornell with his wife, Jenny and their two children, Dominic and Gina.

He is a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and attends St. Ann’s Church in Hornell. He is also a member of the Steuben County Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association and the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA). He serves on the Board of Directors of the Hornell Dodgers and also acts as their Housing Coordinator. He is also a part-time Realtor for the Hunt Agency in Hornell and a Sales Representative for St. George Monuments in Wayland.

Steve was a former member of the Hornell Council Knights of Columbus, the cemetery committee of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and a former volunteer for Maple City Sound.

He enjoys traveling, boating and spending time with his family and friends.
