  1. I remember George for the many rides I took with him in the ROAD TOAD, the endless wheelies he did on a bicycle as a kid and his numerous “projects” I had the privilege of helping him with. He was constantly working on one engine/vehicle or another and taught me more than I ever realized at the time. Riding up the creek in town in a ’38 Chevy laughing so hard we didn’t even know where we were at half the time because of the water splashing up. He was always a good time and good-natured. We didn’t see much of one another after we got out of high school but I loved him like a brother and will never forget the thousand smiles he put on my face while I was growing up. Everyone should be so lucky as to have a friend like George as you’re growing up. Thank you George… you’ll always be in my memories.

  2. George,

You were a fun person to be around. I still remember you riding that bicycle the length of River St. pulling a wheelie on just the back tire. I also remember the time you took me for a ride on the motor cycle before I understood g forces, angular acceleration and “lean over” more and almost wrecked us, sorry about that. Most of all I remember what a good and decent person you were. I am glad we crossed paths and I will miss you.

  3. Matt and Sara sorry to hear about your dad, I know that you will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family may you find peace and comfort know that he is not suffering anymore.

  4. So sorry to hear about George. We would like to be there for the family but we are in Texas. I spent a lot of time with George.. worked with him.. fixed cars for him.. had a few beers with him. We will miss him.

  5. So sorry to hear of your loss and we will miss him. Sorry I didn’t make it up from Fl, but was so pleased that Marcia could be there with the family and called this morning on her way home to Ohio and told me about how impressed she was with the service and to find out, much she never knew about Cousin George and his humor. We knew how much he loved fishing..
Our prayers are with you. Our love
