Wesley R. Bartholf
BRADFORD – It is with a sad and heavy heart that we announce the passing of a loving husband, father and grandfather, Wesley R. Bartholf, a longtime resident of Dundee, NY on Monday (June 26, 2023) surrounded by his loving family at home.
Wesley was born on April 1, 1946 in Mahwah, NJ to Peter and Gladys Bartholf. He moved to New York and farmed most all his life. He retired from Thomas and Betts in Horseheads, NY.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Charlotte J. Bartholf and children, Nancy Shearer, Evelyn Peazzoni, Roger LaBar, Kimberly Shaut and Lisa Poteat; along with 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews.
Wesley is predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Conrad and Peter; also a son, Jay LaBar.
No services to be held at Wesley’s request.
In loving memory of Wesley there will be a corn roast (which he dearly loved) on Saturday July 22, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Savona Rod and Gun Club, 5907 Bonnie Hill Road, Bath, NY 14810. A dish to pass will be welcomed and please dress for comfort.
