Thomas James Agor
HAMMONDSPORT – On Wednesday (July 19, 2023), Thomas James Agor, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 76.
Tom was born on Dec. 6, 1946, in San Luis Obispo, California to LaVaughn and Stella Agor.
He graduated from Hammondsport High School and was employed by Frey and Campbell, Inc. in Hammondsport for 56 years.
Tom was a member of Local 262 Plumber and Steamfitters Union and was a longtime member and past chief of the Hammondsport Volunteer Fire Dept.
He was very passionate about restoring and showing his vintage cars.
Tom is survived by his wife, Diane Agor; four children, William Agor, Jenise Bentle, James Agor and Corey Agor; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as his mazing coworkers at Frey and Campbell.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 1-4 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 5, 2023) at the Hammondsport Fire Hall.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in his memory to the Hammondsport Fire Department or to a local favorite charity.

Tom was an amazing person and step father. The love between him and my Mother was an inspiration to me. From Flowers bought every Friday for 30 years to the notes and letter between them. He was a quite man with a passion for his cars and his wife. Believe me when I say he will be greatly missed.
