  4. Sal and his wife Francis were favorite customers of mine. When I delivered the Evening Trtibune to him on Lincoln St (1952-56)they were always very gracious and most importantly always paid their weekly 30 cents paper charge on time!! Later I was appointed a Hornell summer ambulance driver during my college years (1958-60). As such I worked with Sal at the Fire Station and we shared lots of memories and stories. Please know my family sends heartfelt condolences and prayors to Lu, Pete and other family members at this difficult time. Sal will never be forgotten. God bless.

  5. This is kind of late but I wanted to send my condolences. Sal was a great neighbor and friend to my parents. I had many talks with him when they were very sick. I will always remember his kindness. He was a great man!
