Ronald E. Hill
AVOCA-Ronald E. Hill, 69, of Fox Road, passed away suddenly Thursday morning (Dec. 28, 2017) at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath.
Born in Elmira on July 21, 1948, he was the son of the late Edward and Florence (Sherman) Hill. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Linda.
Ron was employed as a truck driver with E & F Trucking and later with R.C. Billings.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 22 years, the former Joyce Meese, who he married at Louck’s Pond on Feb. 4, 1995; his children, Ronald (Nicole) Hill, Pammy, Bonnie Sue, Bernadette, Sean (Courtney) Costello and Shannon (Stacey) Costello; also, several grandchildren; his sisters, Roxanne (Jim) Miller and Sandy (Carl) Yeoman; and several nieces and nephews; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Avoca Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St. in Avoca is honored to serve the family of Ronald E. Hill.
To honor his wishes there will no calling hours. A service will be held in his memory at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in his memory to the Finger Lakes SPCA, 72 Cameron St., Bath, N.Y. 14810.
