  1. Bob will be missed by many.
I am sure that he has made many friends over his many years of cutting hair, giving all of them some kind of fond memory.

My thoughts and prayers are with Jake, Gail, and their family.

  2. Bob was a good man and alot of fun. He will be missed by many. He is in a better place now and with his wife that he loved so very much and missed since her passing. Alot of his friends have gone before him and I know he is with them now telling all kinds of stories. Rest in Peace Bob.

  3. When I grew up in Cohocton, your Dad was a friend to me and my Mom and Dad,
Kay and Henry Alsheimer. I remember visiting with him many times at his shop or when he came for coffee at Kay’s Koffe Shop. They are all missed now. Sorry for you loss.

  4. I will always remember the good times we had at The Avoca Diner over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jake, Gail and family.

  5. When my son was young we used to take him to get his hair cut by Bob. He was a wonderful guy and still remember the his caring ways. Our thoughts and prayers to the family during your loss.

  6. I fondly recall how kind Bob was to my Dad John Rezelman who loved to get his hair cut at Bob’s so he could catch up on all the local farm news. Bob even added a handle to the doorway that Dad used to get in the shop door after his walking declined. Later on Bob would even come to the house to cut his hair and chat. His son followed in his footsteps too and it was always much appreciated by our family!

  7. i HAVE SUCH GREAT MEMORIES OF MR PRITTING CUTTING MY BROTHERS AND MY DAD’S HAIR. He always had geraniums in the front window of his shop in the middle of town (Cohocton). These are the memories our children will never have. Thank you so much for being a part of Cohocton’s history and my condolences to the family on their loss.

  8. Dear Jake and Gail, My heart goes out to you and the boys with the loss of your Dad. He was a wonderful neighbor all those 30 years we lived across the street. Your mom and dad were the most thoughtful and nicest people in the world. My sons loved them, every summer your mom would have them on her porch with sliced watermelon. Your dad would give them an old coin every once in a while. I loved them very much and know you’ll forever miss them. God bless you.
