  1. Jim was a pastor at the Poquonnock Bridge Baptist Church, Groton CT. We became good friends and for many years stayed in touch and visited each other at least twice a year until his passing. RIP Jim and one day we will meet again.

  2. I’m sure heaven will be a better place with Jim there. Thank you for your love and compassion PBBC will never forget your loving care as our Pastor. And our many happy times together.

  3. Jim served as an interim pastor at PBBC and was /is very dear to our church family as well as my immediate family. I will always be thankful for his friendship, endless compassion and quick wit. I’m sure when he met the Lord and was asked how he was he answered “now that I’ve seen you I’m fantastic”… Jim, we were blessed to be a part of your world. Well done good and faithful servant!

  4. Jim came into our lives as a caring pastor and very soon into our hearts as a dear and beloved friend. We cherish the opportunities to spend time with him in his bit of heaven-on-earth in Howard. We came to love his quirky humor and will miss the lengthy narratives that he always seemed to have ready whenever the opportunity for telling arose.
