PENNY THIBODEAU
After a long battle with cancer, at the age of 87, Penny (Joyce) Thibodeau entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 31, 2016.
Surviving are her husband, Wallace; her son, David Christenson; her daughter, Karen (Chris) Blades; her grandchildren, Abby (Eric) Fry, Aaron (Margaret) Blades and Peter (Amanda) Blades; and her great-grandchildren, Libby, Jackson and Hayden Fry and Ezra, Eliana and Sarah Blades.
Penny spent many years as a surgical nurse before returning to school in her 40’s to obtain her Phd in counseling.
She lived life fully and did not fear death. She touched many lives and will be missed dearly but remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
The Bishop & Johnson Funeral Home, Inc., 285 Main St., Hornell is honored to serve the family of Penny (Joyce) Thibodeau.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Alfred Almond Bible Church, 6741 State Route 21, Almond.

We met Penny at Word of Life RV Park & Conference Center in Florida. We enjoyed getting to know Penny and Wallace there.
Sorry for your loss, Wally. Penny was a sweet lady and WOL friend.
Penny and Wally were a wonderful couple we got to know T WOL! We wish we could have known them longer before they moved back to NYS to “retire”. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Wally. We are looking forward to being Ll together in Heaven someday! -Alvin and Delores Bragg
