Pauline M. Havens
AVOCA – Pauline M. Havens, 89, of Hemlock Road, passed away Monday (April 22, 2024) at Steuben Centers in Bath, NY.
Born in Bath on Nov. 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late David and Doffina (Cole) Frankin. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Leon Havens on Sept. 12, 2009.
A graduate of Prattsburgh Central School, Pauline was a devoted wife and mother.
She was a member of the Wheeler Grange and loved working on the family farm. Pauline was an excellent cook and loved cooking for friends and neighbors. She also enjoyed flower gardening and making homemade ice cream and butter.
She is lovingly survived by two sons, Paul T. (Julia) Havens and Jack Havens; one brother, Mert Franklin; one sister Lorali Olmstead; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday (April 27, 2024) at the Bishop & DeSanto Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., AVOCA. A graveside service will follow at the Wheeler Cemetery.
