Patricia Ellen “Pattie” Booth

HORNELL-Patricia Ellen “Pattie” Booth, 62, loss a good fight with cancer on Sunday Morning (March 6, 2022) at the home of her brother, “Pokey” Booth on Fairview Avenue.

Born in Hornell on March 19, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Paul E. and M. Ruth (Davis) Booth. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Charles I. Booth.

Throughout the years Pattie has resided in Hornell, Prattsburgh, Virginia, Washington, Texas and Hornell.

She was employed with Isaman Taxi and Medical Transport in Hornell, as well Wilkins RV and all of the convenient stories in the area.

Pattie was a member of the Hornell Am Vets Auxiliary and loved her pets, and 420 time. She especially enjoyed Halloween and going trick or treating with all her nieces and nephews. She was dearly loved by all her family and friends.

Her loving surviving family includes two brothers, Edward Booth of Hornell and Paul “Pokey” Booth (Barbara Trenchard) of Hornell, with whom she resided; they were her devoted caregivers throughout her illness; one sister, Jane Marie Booth of Hornell; also, her nieces and nephews; as well as her very best friend, Matt Isaman.

To honor her wishes there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to join her family at the St. Mary’s Cemetery Chapel, Town of Fremont where a committal service will take place in her memory at 11 a.m. Saturday (March 26, 2022) with the Rev. Dudley Jenkins officiating. A “Celebration of Life” will follow at the Hornell VFW Post, 245 Canisteo St.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620.

The Bishop-Johnson & DeSanto Funeral Home, 285 Main St., Hornell is honored to assist Pattie’s family with the arrangements.
