PATRICIA ANN McKINLEY

HORNELL-Patricia Ann McKinley, 65, formerly of Hornell, passed over late Friday afternoon (Nov. 4, 2011) at the Living Center South in Geneva.
Born in Hornell on March 30, 1946, she was the daughter of the late George H.”Red” and Florence Ritz Connell.
A graduate of Hornell High School, Patty was a former resident of the Wellsville-Andover area and was a homemaker who loved her children, family and home. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Her family includes her two devoted daughters, Michelle Marie McKinley and Patti Jolene McKinley; her beloved sister in Christ, Ruthie Iorio; her daughter, Colleen A. McKinley-Walls; her two sons, Shannon M. McKinley and Shane J. McKinley; her five grandsons and one granddaughter, including her two very special grandchildren, Phillip and Jolene; her brothers, George Connell, Jr., Robert Connell and Leonard “Leo” Connell; also her stepmother, Audrey Connell.
There will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of her family.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in her memory to their favorite charity.
Arrangements are with the Bishop & Johnson Funeral Home, Inc., 285 Main St., Hornell.
Special blessings of thanks to the caregivers at Geneva Living Center South for their outstanding care of our mother and friend, especially in her last hours. Everyone one of them were awesome!

  1. My prayers, sympathy and love to all of Pat’s family. I so enjoyed working with her at ACS and knowing all of you. I still use one of her cookie recipes. I will have a Memorial Mass said in her memory at Blessed Sacrament in Andover. Keep all your good memories!

  2. I always loved Pat. She was a loving mother and a friend to so many. She is now united with all her family that went before her and I am sure she is held warmly in the embrace of Our Lord Jesus.
