Pamela Jean Dodge (Cieslak, Karns), born July 25, 1948, to Vivian and Ford Dodge, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, following a brief illness.
Pam enjoyed ice skating, working on her beautiful property overlooking the city, caring for her beloved cats, having coffee with friends, and, most of all, spending as much time as possible with her family.
She was predeceased by her brother, Mark Dodge, and her sister, Cheryl Dodge.
Pam is survived by her son, Joseph Robert Cieslak, of Charlotte, North Carolina; her granddaughter, McKenna Rae Cieslak, also of Charlotte; her stepson, Juel Karns, and his wife, Heather Karns, and their daughter, Alexis Karns; and her sister, Connie Houghtaling, of North Hornell. She is also survived by her niece, Noelle Sanders, and her husband, Troy, of Conway, South Carolina, and her nephew, Chad Houghtaling, and his wife, Rachel, of Jasper, New York.
In accordance with Pam’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pam’s honor may be made to the Hornell Area Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843.
Pam will be remembered for the life she lived, the friendships she cherished, and the love she shared with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
