MARTIN R. “MARTY†COSTELLO
AVOCA-Martin R. “Marty†Costello, 76, passed away late Friday evening (May 6, 2016) at his home on County Route 70.
Born in Hackensack, N.J. on Dec. 16, 1939, he was a son of the late Arthur B. Gertrude M. (Korb) Costello.
A truck driver for Empire Tractor in Atlanta, N.Y., Marty was also self-employed as a farmer.
His loving family includes his two sons, Shawn Costello (Courtney Trinkle) of Avoca and Shannon (Stacey) Costello of Brockport; his six grandchildren, Zachary, Dylan, Morgan, Cheyenne, Jessica and Dakota; his sister, Gertrude (Louis) Ravoli of Williamson; his brother, Arthur (Beverly) Costello of Texas; also several nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Don (Jean) Wheeler of Bath and Ron Bouton of New Jersey.
The Avoca Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Martin R. “Marty†Costello.
A benefit and memorial in honor of Marty will be held, beginning at Noon on Sunday (May 15, 2016) at 3858 County Route 70 in Avoca.
