  1. Marian was a dear friend to us at Smith Pond. One of our fondest rememberances of Marian comes from the trees and shrubs around our property thanks to her efforts during her Association presidency to acquire free saplings for all the members. We offer our deepest sympathy to her family.

  2. Marion was a neighbor of my grandparents the Chapmans out at smiths pond in the 70’s. They had passed away I moved away as a child with my parents back then. I came back to the area in 2000 and went by the the house and was over joyed to see Miss Dennis still there I have a daughter who is 5 and was able to show her the joy I felt at smiths pond as a boy as Miss Dennis welcomed us to use her boat and fish from her dock. Thank you Miss Dennis. REST IN PEACE

  3. Hi, Paul and Linda – I hope you are both doing well. I remember your mom from long ago – she was a Sunday School teacher at the First Methodist Church on Cedar Street. I always had a lot of respect for her.
