MARIAN L. LYNCH
HORNELL-Marian L. Lynch of Hornell, formerly of Elmira, passed away early Friday morning (April 20, 2018), with her family by her side.
Marian was born Aug. 17, 1927 in Elmira to Bert and Hazel Lynch. She is predeceased by her parents and her sister, Anna Kern Baker.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Jon) Pierce; granddaughter, Jill (Danielle) Morris-Pierce and grandchildren, Aiden Kinney and Paxton Morris-Pierce.
Marian retired from U.S. Steel in Elmira and after her retirement she went to work for many years for American Greetings. Although Marian spent the last several years of her life in Hornell near her family, her heart always remained in Elmira and she continued to have many friends there. Marian always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds and was a regular supporter of the Humane Society.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
