BATH – Kevin Mark Vogt of Bath, NY, passed away at the age of 49 on Thursday, March 3. 2022. He was born November 23, 1972, in the town of Urbana, NY.
He was predeceased by his father, Herman Vogt. He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda E. Vogt; his six daughters, Crystal (Joe) Shattuck, Stacie (Joshua) Nicholson, Justina Vogt, Morgan Cupp, Morgan Vogt, and Makenna Vogt; grandson, Triston Nicholson; granddaughters, Mara Nicholson and Symphony Crabb; mother, Clara Campbell and step father, Joe Donahue; mother and father in-law, Dale and Linda Cupp; sisters, Sheila Buckle (Ed Sutryk), Michele (Robert) Smith, Charlene (Al) Willems; brothers, Steve (Mary) Vogt, Jeff Vogt (Melissa Beam), Mark Vogt (Kristy Bacon); sisters-in-law, Danielle Towner and Katrina Cupp; along with many other friends and family members.
Kevin grew up in Hammondsport, NY, where he had many great memories. Anyone who knows Kevin, knows he loved spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, and his other family and friends. He was an all-around family man. He was very selfless, and an incredibly hard worker. Kevin was known for being the life of the party, his contagious laugh, his spunky dance moves, his love for rock and metal, his neck breaking head banging and his singing. Kevin feared no dare. You never said, “bet ya won’t,” because he would. He also took great pride in his cooking. He expressed himself through his music and tattoo’s and enjoyed going to concerts.
Kevin was loved by so many. His wishes were for everyone to celebrate his life, rather than mourn him.
We know he is up in heaven raising hell with his twisted tea.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
The Bishop-Johnson & DeSanto Funeral Home, 285 Main St., Hornell is honored to assist Kevin’s family with the arrangements.
