Judy Lou (Marvin) Tyler (Feb. 13, 1941 – Aug. 27, 2023)
PULTENEY – Judy Lou (Marvin) Tyler, 82, passed away Sunday (Aug. 27, 2023) in her home surrounded by her family.
She loved spending time with her family, cardinals, her flower garden and Rose of Sharons, playing cards, making wise cracks any chance she got, crossword puzzles, reading, jeopardy and ice cream. She always looked forward to her weekly visits with Jason Tears and John Crane.
She is survived by her husband, Vrooman M. Tyler; sibling, Shirley Stopka; children, Dorothy (Mike) Bulkley, Rhonda Tyler, Judith (Scott) Campbell, Peter Tyler (Lisa), Virginia (James) Watson, Toby (Barbie) Tyler, Brenda (Robert) Frost, Jesse (Jen) Tyler; as well as 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Judy is predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Dorothy Marvin; and siblings, Wanda Foster and Mary Coots; and son, Stanley Tyler.
To honor her wishes there will be no funeral service. A celebration of Judy’s life will take place beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 2, 2023) at the Pulteney Fire Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the Pulteney Ambulance Corps, 9203 County Route 74, Pulteney, NY 14874.
