Jana K. Clark
HORNELL-Jana K. Clark, 70, passed away early Monday morning (Aug. 15, 2022) at her home on Madison Avenue, after a long illness.
Born in Hornell on Aug. 15, 1952, she was a daughter of the late William and Joyce (Hallett) Coogan. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband of 43 years, William W. “WWC” Clark on Aug. 14, 2012; and two sisters, Diane Terpstra and Karen Levi-Giovanniello.
A “stay at home Mom”, Jana enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at Wednesday night family cookouts and Friday night family poker games. She loved to read but will be remembered most of all for being a loving grandmother.
She is lovingly survived by four children, Kelly Clark of Hornell, Matt (Jammie) Clark of Hornell, Kathryn (Jeremy) Hoad of Cameron, NY and Jamie Clark (Melissa Allen) of Pavilion, NY; grandchildren, Zack Clark, Cassidy and Landon Gadson, James, Michael and Andrew Clark, Tayah Jackson, Camden Hoad and Brogan Clark; two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Oliver Clark; five brothers, Mike (Yonnie) Coogan of Tacoma, WA, Patrick Coogan of Hornell, William Coogan of Hornell, David Coogan of Athens, GA and Daniel Coogan of Hornell; one sister, Kathleen (Olds) Harris of Hornell; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
To honor her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A celebration of Jana’s life will be held at a later date.
The Bishop-Johnson & DeSanto Funeral Home, 285 Main St., Hornell is honored to assist Jana’s family with the arrangements.
