HORACE R. FOLEY
AVOCA-Horace R. Foley, 84, of County Road 8, passed away Wednesday (April 2, 2014) at the Veterans Administration medical Center in Buffalo.
Born in North Tonawanda on January 2, 1930, he was a son of the late Horace and Eleanor McMurray Foley. He was married to the former Josephine Ruge, who survives.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1948 until his honorable discharge in 1951.
Before he retired, Horace was employed by Gunlocke’s in Wayland.
There are no calling hours. A private service was held at the Bath National Cemetery.
