RIP Glenn Davis
I was the assistant manager at Bath Building when i met Glenn. I could tell right away that he was a great man. He was very dedicated to building the ramps and helping people. We helped him set up the account with us and gave him employee pricing to help with the ramps. i remember once that he called me once from the hospital bed just after he had a heart attack. He wanted to make sure that his workers had enough lumber. I nominated him for the Jefferson award through Chemung Canal. He didn’t win but they invited him to a recognition dinner. He was a great man and helped make a lot of lives better. I will miss him.
Affectionately known as the “Grand Pooh Bah” among his coworkers at Mercury. Glenn’s presence was always supportive and calm with kindness and readiness to help or offer support or leadership. Glenn represented the best traits as a human being regardless, if he just met you or had been a loyal friend for many years, which he was too many of us. Respected by many of the top businesses clients who met Glenn, in the world that we dealt with at Mercury, Glenn was always an advocate for decency, and being part of the team. Even in his retirement years, and working with the ramp guys, he valued putting others first , his relationships with others, showing compassion and a way forward, his legacy as a a coworker, and a friend will always be cherished. Thank you “Pooh Bah”… you are and will always be the “Grandest” of all.
