ENOLA B. “BEA†NORTON
CANISTEO-Enola B. “Bea†Norton, 64, of County Route 69, Canisteo (Town of Howard), passed away Sunday afternoon (June 15, 2014) at St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell after a prolonged illness.
Born in Bath on April 10, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Forrest and Carlotta Whitford Freelove. In 1971 she was married at the Kanona Methodist Church to George Norton, Jr. who survives.
A graduate of Haverling Central School in Bath, class of 1968, Bea was employed by the Bath V.A. Center for 27 years before her retirement.
Her loving family includes her husband of 43 years, George, Jr.; her daughter, Sherry (Tom) Webber of Avoca; her three brothers, Ernie (Patti) Waite of Cameron Park, Calif., Barry Freelove (Sarah) of Bath and Wendell (Nancy) Freelove of Cohocton; her sister, Dorthea (David) Knabb of Spencerport; also her many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Avoca Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Avoca, where a funeral and committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Avoca.
