  1. Bud was one of the first people and one of the nicest I met when I returned to Arkport in 1981. No matter what the question or request, Bud had the answer and such a willing and cheerful spirit to provide whatever assistance was required. He was a pleasure to work with and to count a friend. We send our condolences to all of his family and friends. God Bless you, Fern, and comfort all of you in your loss.

  2. As a kid we would all enjoy a visit from Uncle Buddy when he would go to Bridgewater, Maine for a load of seed potatoes for his employer in Arkport. We usually knew he was coming because my mother, his sister Irene, would have two different kinds of pie for dessert. This was special as we would only have one kind. When asked what kind of pie he would like, he would naturally say “one of each !”
Always jovial and loved to share a story in his big booming voice and hearty laugh.
He will be greatly missed by us all.
