I have known Doug for over 20yrs.He was my boss at the town of Alfred for 19yrs.Doug hired me an for that I could never thank him enough because of him I provided for my family.Doug will be missed in the Alfred area.At the coffee shop an seeing him farming it around town.Every time I would go by with the dump truck or plow I would see Doug on his tractor. It will be sad now seeing the tractors sitting still where he last left them.Doug was a tough man, there were days he could hardly get around because of his hips but he always was at work or on the farm doing something he was no couch potatoe.Doug loved his family he always talked about his kids where they are an what they are doing. Some of his stories would make you laugh. The lord must of needed a good farmer to keep the heavens beautiful so he called for Doug.He will be missed.
