Cathryn Rose Clifford
HORNELL-Cathryn Rose Clifford, the 21-year-old daughter of William “Bill†and Judith “Judy†(Osborne) Clifford of Canisteo Street, passed away at St. James Hospital in Hornell Tuesday morning (Oct. 9, 2018) from complications of a life long battle with Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH).
She was born at St. James Hospital in Hornell on Nov. 3, 1996.
Besides her loving and devoted parents, she is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Laura Clifford of Syracuse and Hornell; her maternal grandparents, George and Jeanne Osborne of Ocala, Fla.; her aunts, Jennifer (William) Stewart, Kim Wood, Kathy (Andrew) Conine, Kelly (Thomas) Matacale; her uncles, Richard Osborne, James (Renea) Clifford, Timothy Clifford, Robert Clifford, Brian (Heather) Clifford; also many cousins; as well as several special friends including, Beth and Charley Young, Barb and Frank Brzozowski, Patti McNulty and many others too numerous to mention.
Cathryn was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, James J. Clifford, Sr. in 2000 and Rosemary Clifford in 2017.
Her family would like to express their sincere appreciation to her physical therapists, Kelly Wojtkowiak and Lisa Webster; her home care nurses, Debbie, Terrah and Katie; also, to Dr. Petersen, Dr. Mosher, Dr. Myers, Dr. Robshaw at the Emergency Room at St. James Hospital along with the Second Floor Staff of St. James and the members of Hornell Fire Dept.

A private funeral service will be held in her memory at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in her memory to either St. James Hospital, 411 Canisteo St., Hornell or to the Hornell Fire Dept., 110 Broadway, Hornell, N.Y. 14843 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

From the day you were born, You were our special angel, our gift from God. You taught me about Love, hope and courage. Bompa and grandma Clifford loved you so and worried about you…..
