Our deepest sympathy for the Haines family. Carroll was a great man. He was one of the most interesting men I have ever met. I can’t think of anyone that had done more things with their life or went more places. He will never be forgotten by anyone who ever knew him.
To the Haines family, from Carroll’s friend. Carroll was a great man of Avoca. The boys at the snack bar are missing that guy. He took us on a lot of trips with his stories of around the world. You could just imagine being there. Some of Carroll’s friends at the snack bar were Merk, Surelock, Butter, Daryl, Al, Bruce, 2 Johns, Dan, Ernie, Rod, lots of Bills, Jack, 4 Bobs, all the waitresses, Twelve Mile, Lenny, Lem, Jim, 2 Rons, Rick, Don, and many many many more. The Haines family, employees, & Avocans can be proud of Carroll. What a great guy. Sincerely & prayers, David J Hubbard
We will surely miss his smiling face and happy wave. He had a special quality that is unique in this day. He will be greatly missed by all. To the family we offer our condolences.
Because of cchurch commitments out of town we will be unable to greet the family in person which I find quite saddening. My chief memory was working with his children who were stalwarts in the Avoca Band program. Their dedication and reliability had to be reflections of a strongly parented home. My warm rememberances of them is reflected to those who raised them. May God bless you all especially during this time. In His love;
To Caroll Haines Family,
We are sorry for your loss.
We have known Caroll and his family for well over 30 years. We will always remember Caroll, first as an employee, then as a valued customer, when we opened our own place in Avoca. Caroll was a great man with a wonderfully intuitive mind. We learned a lot from him over the years. Back in 1976 when we lost our house and all we own in a house fire Caroll was the frist to lend a helping hand, and we have never forgotten that.
He was well traveled and he loved to tell you of his travels. He was a good business man and ran his business very well. He knew every process, procedure, and customer, and that was important to him. He was a hard worker himself in his earley years he worked right beside his employees.
Caroll will be missed.
May God Bless all of you, and may you feel His peace at this time.
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of Carroll. He loved his family and community. He will be missed by many.
Thank you Haines family for frequenting my parents’ Snack Bar for their 40 years in business. We met many interesting folks and there were many live discussions. We celebrated the births of each of your kids. Carroll always had interest in people and his surroundings. He will surely be missed. This is a great loss to our community. Thanks for the memories.
