Brian Charles Connor

Brian Charles Connor surrounded by loved ones, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, August 15, 2026 in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born on April 29, 1959 in Lackawanna, NY, he was a son of James and Helen (O’Brien) Connor. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers, Mark Connor and Michael Connor.

A 1977 graduate of Canisteo Central School, he was formerly employed for 33 years at Mercury Aircraft.

Brian was a member of the Kanona Fire Department for 9 years and also a member of the Wallace Volunteer Fire Department for 33 years where he served as various chief positions. He was a Ham Radio Operator with his call sign KD2GEB and a member of Keuka Lake Amateur Radio Association for over 10 years. He was a founding member of (ACORN) Association of Corvair Nuts.

Brian had a love for camping and always meeting new friends. He also worked at the Geneseo Air Show on the flight line. Brian had a love for animals, especially his constant companion, Smidgen and Smidgen’s neighbor dog, Jasmine Hoover. Brian also had a love for ice cream, especially hot fudge sundae’s.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Belinda Lee Connor and also survived by sons, Charles (Pamela) Connor of Groveland, NY and Sean Connor of Thurston, NY and his brother, Father Patrick Connor. Also survived by his grandchildren, Caitlin and Nicholas Connor, Jarett (Brooke) Gill, Haley (Daren) Ross, Justin and Skyler Hunt and 6 great grandchildren, brother in law, Rodney (Stacey) Lee and Thompie, Bobby (Betty Jean) Lee and special kids, Jamie (Mike) Curry and Danielle (Kevin) Sabins and extended family, Julie Talbott, Charlene (Sean Kinney), Aiden Kinney, Dawn (Kevin) Champaign and Rita (Bill) Hoover and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

There will be no calling hours. Memorial service will be held FRIDAY, August 21, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Bishop & DeSanto Funeral Home, 22 N. Main Street, AVOCA. Interment will follow at the Valley View Cemetery, Avoca, NY.
