Alma Ruth Biller
HORNELL – Alma Ruth Biller, 74, of Washington Street, passed away Sunday morning (Sept. 24, 2023) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.
Born in Harrisonburg, VA on June 13, 1949 she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Mamie (Carr) McDorman. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Gratten McDorman and Wayne McDorman.
A graduate of Turner Ashby High School in Bridgewater, VA, Ruth resided in Virginia for most of her life before moving to Hornell about three years ago.
She was a devoted homemaker who loved to bake and she especially enjoyed watching softball games and visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains.
She is lovingly survived by two sons, Anthony (Karen) Sprinkel of Hornell, Steven Biller; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Jamie (Michael) Casey of Harrisonburg, VA; and her companion Timothy Bauman of Watkins Glen, NY.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
