I have so many wonderful, loving memories of time spent with this dear, dear Aunt. Her handpicked blackberry pies were my favorite dessert. I received a birthday card every year from the 1st birthday through my 70th birthday from her. I could go on and on…she was our own special angel and dearly loved by all!
I knew Alice since childhood @ Grants. Salt of the earth. A huge caring force around here. Every time each of you cares for another, you honor her & she will be close as that thought. My sincerest condolences to all the family
Although we lived far away and saw our Aunt Alice only every few years, it was always a joy to spend time with her. She was known for her kindness to all living creatures. She certainly set a wonderful Christian example throughout her life. I was so fortunate to have been able to come to New York and visit her last summer. I will miss the visits with her, the yearly birthday cards, and the beautiful sweet smile. Mona, Carolie, Ron and Marilyn — you were blessed to have such a special mother.
We always enjoyed visiting our New York relatives or having them visit us. Aunt Alice always sent a birthday every year like clockwork, many times arriving on my birthday. We were so fortunate to be able to visit her last summer. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
