AGNES M. MOSKO
ODENTON,MD/HORNELL-Agnes M. Mosko, 80, formerly of Hornell, passed away Thursday (April 26, 2012) at the home of her son, Richard in Odenton, MD, with whom she has resided with the past two years.
Born in Hornell on Sept. 11, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John Michael and Irene Kuczma Kinney. She was married in Hornell in Nov. 1949 to John Jay Mosko, who predeceased her in 1986, after 37 years of marriage. Besides her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her son Donald Mosko in 1989.
A resident of Hornell for most of her life, Agnes attended Hornell High School and was employed for 14 years at the former Loohn’s Cleaners and retired in 2006 from Steuben-Allegany County BOCES in Hornell where she was employed for 26 years.
She loved country music as well as Elvis Presley and also enjoyed line dancing, bingo, traveling and doing puzzles. Agnes will be remembered for being a diehard fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Hornell Dodgers.
Her family includes her daughter, Kathleen (Richard) Rauber of Hornell and Deltona, FL; her five sons, John Roger (Betsy) Mosko of South Dansville and Deltona, FL, Richard (Zena) Mosko of Odenton, MD, Robert (Donna) Mosko of Tamaqua, PA, William (Cheryl) Mosko of Pittsford and Patrick (Sheri) Mosko of South Dansville; her 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; her brother, William Kinney of Ft. Collins, CO; her two sisters, Patricia Schlegel of Naples, FL and Delores (Joseph) Casey of Washoe Valley, NV; also her nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Bishop & Johnson Funeral Home, Inc., 285 Main St., Hornell, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Fremont.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in her memory to the Hornell Dodgers, in care of Paul Welker, 355 Seneca Road, Hornell, N.Y. 14843(envelopes will be available at the funeral home) or to a local charity of the donor’s choice.

I will remember her smile, her hellup cheeze, her love of Elvis and her luck at gambling! I will miss talking to her. She lived her life to the fullest. Rest peacefully now with your loved ones. I will miss my friend. ““““““““““““““““`

She was an awesome Grandmother and I will never forget all that she did for me and taught me. She treated her grandchildren like we were her own. I will always love you and never forget you Grandma.
