A “stay at home Mom”, Jana enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at Wednesday night family cookouts and Friday night family poker games. She loved to read but will be remembered most of all for being a loving grandmother.
She is lovingly survived by four children, Kelly Clark of Hornell, Matt (Jammie) Clark of Hornell, Kathryn (Jeremy) Hoad of Cameron, NY and Jamie Clark (Melissa Allen) of Pavilion, NY; grandchildren, Zack Clark, Cassidy and Landon Gadson, James, Michael and Andrew Clark, Tayah Jackson, Camden Hoad and Brogan Clark; two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Oliver Clark; five brothers, Mike (Yonnie) Coogan of Tacoma, WA, Patrick Coogan of Hornell, William Coogan of Hornell, David Coogan of Athens, GA and Daniel Coogan of Hornell; one sister, Kathleen (Olds) Harris of Hornell; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
To honor her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A celebration of Jana’s life will be held at a later date.
The Bishop-Johnson & DeSanto Funeral Home, 285 Main St., Hornell is honored to assist Jana’s family with the arrangements.

Jana was a sweet sweet lady and a great neighbor! She will be missed.
My deepest sympathy to the children and family of Jana. I went to grade school and high school with her. I remember her in our Bluebird /Campfire girls group. Thinking of you all in sympathy.
To the Clark and Coogan families, I am so sorry to hear of Jana’s passing. I spent a lot of time at Kelly’s house growing up and Jana was always the neighborhood mom to all of us. She had a great sense of humor and was always kind and patient with everyone. She was always watching out for the neighborhood kids, she will be missed by many.
My prayers are with you! I am so sorry for your loss.
My sincere sympathy to the children and family of Jana. May she rest in peace and may the good Lord be with her family during this sad time. She was a great person with lots of love for her family.
Our sympathies to Jana’s family. We are fortunate to have some great memories of our time spent with Jana and Bill. Fond memories of our girls night card night.
Jana was a sweet lady, my thoughts and prayers go out to you all
My sincere condolences, Kate, on the passing of your Mom. My prayers are with you and all your family.
