I was very fond of Dr. Amelia Hays. She was always smiling and generally seem very happy. Most of the time when we seen each other it was a given that we were going to hug each other. I am going to miss my hugs. Louis Birden
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother She was and amazing woman, I was just thinking about her and the good times we had at big N. I worked with her in 1971 and 1972 I was very young and she definitely imparted A lot of wisdom to me which I have carried all of my life Sincerely, Chris ODell Wellington
To Amelia’s family, I send sincere sympathy; wishing you peace and comfort at this time. I’ve known Amelia for 34 yrs as a neighbor, a friend and fellow student of biblestudy. I cleaned house for her occasionally years ago, and her home was full of her beautiful paintings or hand tatted doilies, plants that she tended, wonderful smells of home cooked foods and lots of pictures of her big beautiful family. She had a gift to create and a gift to take care of others. It was a pleasure to know her. My heart goes out to her entire family. May you find comfort in each other and the wonderful memories you share. Love to all of you. Traci
Condolences to Paul my HHS classmate.
I have very fond memories of May. She was a great nurse and a kind compassionate woman.
I always enjoyed her dry sense of humor as well.
Eternal rest grant unto her and May her soul Rest In Peace
