Mike, You were an AWESOME person. You will be missed. Nancy and the rest of his family and friends, my prayers and thoughts are with you.
Mike was my best friend – we did everything together as kids and young men. We enlisted in the Army on the “buddy system” and spent Basic training together. I cherish a lot of fond memories of Mike and will always remember what a great guy he was. Bless his family, and friends as they grieve over there loss. Dave
Wow my biggest memory of Uncle Mike is the fun we had with him all the time at his house across from grams. We would ride a little dirt bike in the field, tractor rides with aunt kay wood. Loved to go to grams and wait for tam and rob to go too their dads for the weekends. spending the nite and sleepin in uncle mikes waterbed was very cool too. i may of lost touch with him last few years but he will always be my Uncle Mike who was as much a kid at heart as we were. RIP Uncle Mike. Love ya.
I remember Mike from my early days in Dansville. And then. . . much later we were reacquainted in Hornell through his love Nancy. I’ll always remember Mike pitching in to help wherever he could at Relay, even if he wasn’t feeling that well. He truly was a survivor and will be missed greatly by many. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Nancy and Mike’s children and grandchildren
Although I only met Mike on a few occasions, it was instanly obvious what a kind man he was. Please know that the entire Moore family from Vermont sends their prayers your way for peace in your hearts as the memories begin to ease your pain.
Love, Kathy

Sorry to hear of Mike’s passing.
“Asheymike”, Our family will carry you in our hearts until our experiration dates arrive! For twenty years our two families were inseperable and you taught us, helped us, and gave to us; everything from raising chickens, cows and a back porch to making applesauce and tunnel of fudge cake. Every day held something different. You were truly a giving and gentle man who has become a part of all four of us. We shall miss you. Rest peacefully.
Sincere condolences to Mike’s family and friends. My memories of Mike go back to grade school where we shared many happy times together. He was a wonderful, kindly person and always had a lot of ingenious, witty ideas to share. Some of my fondest memories go back to those grade-school days. RIP, Mike, you are missed.
Mike and I were in a small grade school together. Everybody liked him. He was one of our “trade group.” We’d exchange military patches, arrowheads, etc. And he was a lunch time card player. My strongest memories of him were his creative schemes to antagonize our teachers. May he rest in peace.
Did not have mucch contact with Mike after the school years. Was a good freind, in the past. My condolences to family.
