  5. I worked at the Southside for brief time a few years ago and had the opportunity to meet Jim. He was very friendly and personable and quickly gave me pointers on how to make “the guys” happy. I was thankful for his humor and acceptance. After I stopped working there, I would see Jim sometimes when I was out and about. He would always say hello and chat with me about my life. He was a wonderful man and I know that he will be missed by all who knew him.

  6. Jimmy was a great man. I’ve had the pleasure to known him for 25 years, and I couldn’t ask for a nicer guy to know, and work with. My deepest sympathy to all the family and friends

  7. My sincere condolences to Jim’s family. I well remember him. Been a long time as I have not seen Jim sense the early 60’s we went to Lincoln and St Ann’s Schools together. Though our paths never crossed in my trips to Hornell.

May the Good Lord take Jim in His hands and grant him eternal peace.

  8. I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Day. Please accept my sincere condolences during this difficult time for all of the Day family.
