Stan was one of those nice guys who always had a good word to say. His cup was never half empty. His smile brought warmth to everyone. He will certainly be missed by his family and friends. His suffering is now over and he is at peace. What more could one wish for such a terrific soul? It was a pleasure knowing Stan. Our prayers are with him and his family. From your Avoca Central School Alumni family members with love and admiration.

It was an absolute joy to know Stan — he was such a terrific person. We always enjoyed his humor and the jokes he sent to us online. To Martha, his children and their families, his parents — please know that we share your sadness but also know that Stan is now at peace and he suffers no more. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
There are no words that can truly express the sorrow of your loss. Stan was a wonderful person. I am a county employee and I interacted with Stan, sometimes on a daily basis, and he truly made work a much nicer place to be, he will truly be missed by all. My heart goes out to Marth and his family.
Gordon, Helen and Family,
Clarence and Peggy Smith from Prattsburgh are my parents. Our family just wanted to tell you how sorry we are to hear that Stanley passed away. Just wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. My Dad had emergency surgery Oct 3rd and is in the Geneva Hospital. He had two blood clots in his arm. It was touch and go for a little while, but is doing much better now. I hope this works and you get this message. Again we all wanted you to know we were thinking about you.
To my dear beloved Stan.
Thank you for sending me and Cathy the signs that you are safely with Our Lord. Please watch over all of us and know that you are forever in our hearts. When you see that we need a smile, show us something to make it happen. When we are sick, comfort us. Nothing on this earth will make up for your loss but we will ALL do our best for keep your memory alive and alway make you proud. Remember that we pledged ourselves to one another August 6, 2005 and I will always honor our commitment.
