William “Bill” Clarence Edwards
AVOCA – William “Bill” Clarence Edwards, age 73, of Avoca, NY, passed away on Wednesday (June 2, 2021) at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY.
He was born January 3, 1948 in Bath, NY, a son of Llewellyn and Anna (Jones) Edwards. Bill was self-employed as a handyman and was a veteran of United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed gardening, history, tinkering, telling stories, and catching up with old friends.
Bill is survived by his children, Eric (Tami) Edwards of Orlando, FL, Todd (Doreen) Edwards of Harrisburg, PA, Sarah (Rocky) Chapman of Vero Beach, FL, Zachary Edwards of Wellsboro, PA, Amelia (Bradley Hicks) Edwards of Charleston, SC, Lydia Edwards of Charleston, SC, and Willa (Zachary Kerstetter) Edwards of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Clifford (Shirley) Edwards of VA, Nicholas Edwards of AZ; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Highland Cemetery in Avoca, NY.
