Thomas Finley
PRATTSBURGH/PULTENEY – Thomas Finley, age 87 of Pulteney/Prattsburgh, NY passed away on Tuesday (Jan. 2, 2023).
He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Helen Finley, and his brother, Joseph Ferencz.
Tom is survived by his wife, Rita and his children, Thomas C. Finley, Jonathan Finley, Mathew Finley, Bridget Finley, and Mary Finley, his stepsons: Kevin S. Best, and Eric J. Best, along with his sisters, Patricia Putnam and Charlotte Lavery.
Tom was born in Pittsburgh, PA and remained a staunch Pirates and Steelers fan throughout his life.
His family moved to this area during his school age years. Tom loved the area and enjoyed going to community functions, such as the pancake breakfasts at the Firehouse and the sporting events at Prattsburgh Central School.
Services will be for the immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pulteney Volunteer Ambulance Corps
and/or the Pulteney Fire Dept., or any charity of your choice.
Tom ashes will be buried at the Glenview Cemetery in Pulteney at a later date, with future notifications.
