Mr. Sheedy was Chairman of the Planning Board when I was first hired by the City of Hornell in 1998. He was a wealth of institutional knowledge and extremely helpful to me during my career. I still have a box of documents he gave me when he retired that I occasionally use for reference. I always remember him to be professional and fair with anyone who came before the board. I am so sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
