BATH – Peggy Elaine Rougeux (Curtis), age 80 of Bath, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday (Dec. 25, 2020)
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (July 24, 2021) at Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo, NY. A celebration of life will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hammondsport Fire Department, 8251 State Route 54, Hammondsport, NY.
Peggy was a great lady. My mother and I were in Vine City Eastern Star with her for years. My sincerest sympathy goes out to your entire family.
I am so sad to hear of her passing. I took care of her for a short time while on assignment in Bath. I always liked seeing her because she was so pleasant and she called me “Miss Buffalo” because I came down from Buffalo for my shifts. She was always my favorite to talk to and I think of her often. Prayers to the family.

Although it has been some years since we have seen Peggy, we do remember her sweet smile at church, at OES dinners and around town. It is a sad loss for her friends and your family especially during this difficult time. May God bless your good memories of times together.
You took in both of us when your son married my twin without even batting an eye. I always will remember your smile and sense of humor. You are blessed to share a birthday with Jesus and having the Christmas star light your way to heaven. You will live on in my heart always.
I worked with Peggy in Dss. Such a nice/sweet person. So sorry for the families loss!
Peggy was my very good friend for many years. I will always remember all the good times we shared. She was a special lady who will be greatly missed.
