Jill Rae Roselli
HORNELL – Jill was born March 2, 1967 at St James Hospital to Francis (Thumper) Roselli and Sue Ann (Curran)
Roselli. She returned to the Lord January 21, 2024 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY.
Jill attended St Ann School and graduated from Hornell High School in 1984.
She worked at the Ponce De Leon Restaurant for her Grandparents Cappy and Virginia before leaving
Hornell to attend Thompkins Community College.
Upon returning to Hornell, she attended Alfred State College.
Jill went to work for Dr. Meyer as dental hygienist where she very much enjoyed helping her patients.
Jill later opened her own business, Jewelry by Jill, where she made custom jewelry out of a store front
on Canisteo Street in Hornell. Many in the area own beautiful heirloom pieces that she designed and
created. She was very enthusiastic about doing this work.
Jill very much-loved children and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and the children of her friends.
Jill really enjoyed her coffee and making special treats to entertain her friends and family.
Jill was predeceased by her father Francis Roselli. She is survived by her mother Sue Ann (Curran) Roselli,
Sisters, Suzanne (William) Piatt, Joann Roselli, and nieces Faith Piatt and Evelyn Piatt.
A celebration of Jill’s life will be held at Savor Vineyards and Wines in Arkport at 2 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024. Cookies and coffee will be served in her honor.
