BATH – Gary Robert Gardiner passed away surrounded by loving family on December 6, 2021 at his home. Gary was born in Canisteo, NY on August 19, 1939. He honorably served his country in the US Marine Corp from 1956 – 1959. He worked as a drill press operator at Mercury Aircraft in Hammondsport. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with burial at the Bath National Cemetery.

He was an active member of the Hammondsport Legion for many years. Was also part of the crew that built the Legion on 54. He loved his family including his four legged companions. Marched for many years in the Color Guard. He enjoyed watching the birds ,squirrels ,and any other critter that happened to wander in his yard.
Grandpa the black licorice won’t be the same with out you. Now I have to keep it next my side of the couch. I love you and miss you.
