David Robert Campbell
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the untimely passing of our Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. David Robert Campbell, born February 16, 1977, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at home with his beloved Brutus by his side. David resided in the town of Wayne for most of his life alongside his family. He carried on the family business, Campbell’s Septic and Excavating after the passing of Donald Campbell, Sr. An avid thrill seeker, David enjoyed snowmobiles, 4 wheelers, motorcycles, and everything else with an engine that would allow him to be outdoors and seeking adventure.
There was no greater joy for David than to enjoy time with his family including several nieces and nephews he was always up for a carnival, amusement park or a boat ride. He was always ready and willing to lend a hand to family, friends, and strangers.
David was predeceased by his father, Donald G. Campbell Sr.; brothers Danny Campbell, Dennis Campbell and Donald G. Campbell Jr; Grandparents, Anthony and Maxine Rechichi and Grandmother, Minota Haggerty.
Our beloved David is survived by his children, Chelsea and Brice Veley; mother, Diane Campbell; brother, Douglas Campbell (Vicki Graves); sisters, Diane Sutton, Dedra Campbell (Steve Schwan), Donna Hojnoski (Bob Hojnoski) and Debbie Stevens (Mark Dickerson). Also surviving are nephews, Kyle Campbell, Danny Campbell Jr., Byron Stevens, Ben Hojnoski, Jim Campbell, Jamie Campbell, Dennis Campbell Jr., Tony Campbell, Travis Campbell, Robert Campbell, Chris Campbell and Jason Allison. Surviving nieces, Jennifer Venema, Emily Travis, Sarah Webster, Stella Hojnoski, Lauren Stevens, Deonna Campbell, Kelley Northrup, special niece, Emma bug and Maria Campbell. In addition, many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he was very close to are surviving.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wayne Volunteer Fire House.
Funeral services are being held at the LaMarche Funeral Home, 35 Main St. in Hammondsport NY on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1 p.m. Our family would like to invite you to the Wayne Fire House immediately following the service to enjoy dinner and a celebration of David’s life.
