The Bishop & DeSanto Family Inn located at 33 Main Street, next door to our funeral home in Hammondsport, NY.

We are offering this beautiful home to the families that we are honored to serve, at a reasonable cost, to provide accommodations for their out-of-town-family members and friends who will be attending calling hours or a funeral/memorial service.

The downstairs include a welcoming area off the side entrance, a living room, dining room, eat in kitchen, den and a half bath. There is also a large outside deck and when the weather permits, you may take advantage of the gas grill; there is also a fire pit and the large driveway will accommodate up to five cars.

The upstairs includes a full-size bath, with a tub and shower combination and four bedrooms that will comfortably sleep up to eight people.

If a family desires to host a small reception while they are staying there the downstairs is an appropriate place to do so for 20-25 guests after calling hours or a funeral/memorial service. Families may also just use the downstairs for a reception area with overnight accommodations. Each family must provide their own food and beverages.

Several times a year the home may also be available for weekend getaways for those who would like to spend the time visiting Keuka Lake, the wineries, antique shops and the wonderful restaurants that Hammondsport and the surrounding area has to offer.

To our knowledge we are the only funeral home in Steuben County to provide such a home. It is just another way that we better serve the families that place their trust in us.
