Michelle L. Kennedy
HAMMONDSPORT-Michelle L. Kennedy, 62, passed away Saturday (Dec. 19, 2020) at F.E. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.
Born in Binghamton on May 26, 1958 she was the daughter of the late Jack and Marlene (DeVolder) Moore.
Throughout the years she worked at Gold Seal Winery followed by over a decade at home dedicating her time to raising her children and helping to support her family. Once her children began school she returned to work at the Park Pharmacy, Bully Hill and most recently at Pleasant Valley Winery.
Shelley was loved dearly and will be remembered for her selfless, caring and optimistic nature. Her world revolved around family and her warm welcoming personality left her “second mother” and close friend to many. She had the ability to light up a room by making even the simplest things fun and exciting. Many of the fondest memories include her interests in crafts and do it yourself projects with her friends and family.
Her loving family includes her husband, Thomas; two sons, Corey (Lauren) Kennedy and Chris (Lauren) Kennedy; one daughter, Kristal (Kevin) Campbell; six grandchildren, Conrad, Hudson, Brinkley, Ella, Noah and Windsor; one brother, Michael Moore.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family of Shelley asks that you remember to cherish the time you have with your loved ones and to appreciate the moments that will be forever remembered.
The LaMarche Funeral Home, 35 Main St., Hammondsport is honored to assist Michelle’s family with the arrangements.
Online condolences or remembrances of Michelle are welcomed on the Facebook page of Bishop & Johnson Funeral Home, Inc.
