I am so very saddened to just hear of my good friend John’s passing. I tried calling to do my regular check in with John when we would talk about the comics he loved so much, but without an answer, my worse fears were confirmed. I treasure the many Sunday visits I had with John and Sandy and how much he enjoyed the drawings I would make for him and Father Conrad of the Shadow and other pulp and comic heroes. John was one of the most generous people I met in my life. My life is enriched by knowing him and his family and I so sincerely regret not seeing him again in person before he passed. My condolences to Sandy and his daughters and little Zack.
