  1. Nora, Timmy, Molly and Patrick, my heart aches for you. Kathleen was so loving and kind. I remember her smile when we were kids playing together at family picnics and holidays. I’m so sad that this happened to her. May peace and comfort find you during this difficult time. You are in my prayers. Rest in pain free peace Kathleen.

  2. May God bless you Katha and your beautiful Children and Grandchildren. I’ll always remember the great fun we had at the Lake, dear Cousin. You’ll be missed so much.
    Love always,
    Your Cousin, Jim

  3. Katha was love and laughter, sunshine and common sense.
Her sturdiness and humor were in the best tradition of the Wheeler women, Katie and Frannie.
I adored her, and I cannot wait to see her again.

  4. Mom, I will miss you to the end of time. I grew up with the most kind, compassionate, loving mother. We had so many fun times together, just you pat and I. We were a team. You taught me it’s always important to help others and to kill people with kindness. I loved listening to stories about your childhood, teenagehood and adult years. The love that beemed off off you was power ful and invigorating. Not only did you have a day care for 15 years after you had pat and I so you could stay home with us, but I remember making up food packages and dropping them to charity as well as baskets of baby clothes for poor mother’s in the hospital with nothing. My mom always knew how to have fun and make any time good. Our many times growing up at lake demmon, vacations , holidays and all the many great times in between I will need to hold close to my heart as they mean so much to me . I am relieved to see you at peace and not hurting . I wish this obituary have an accurate description of my mother , for who she really is. Lung cancer wasn’t my mom, only for 8 months. I will always look up to her many accomplishments, graduating from the university of Illinois, and many jobs in high scale restaurants, helping others and loving all children. I had the best mother anyone could ever dream of. Unconditional love to the fullest and a great life with her in it. until I see you again rest in much love and peace, gone but never forgotten, my mother Kathleen ‘katha’ McEntee.

  5. God Bless the family at this very sad time. She a good friend who enjoyed her family very much. I had good times with her when she would come to Nora’s we would play dice and laugh.. I will never forget you my friend. REST IN PEACE!!!!!!!!

  6. I knew Kathleen to be a wonderful, loyal and sweet Mother and Grandmoher. I wish we could have spent more time together with the Family. Knowing love never dies i have all faith that her spirit is still with her loved ones. R.I.P Kathleen.

  7. My Aunt Kathleen was one of the wisest, empathetic, and understanding people I’ve ever known. I am so lucky that I got to spend all the time I did with her even though I wish it was a lot more. Her positive traits are clearly carried out in her children Molly and Patrick. All of my love to our family, we will be missing Kathleen as long as we are here on this earth.

  8. Aunt Kath was always so nice and happy to see us anytime we visited. She was always up for a conversation and some laughs. I have many great memories of her at the Lake. She was truly a strong person and fought very hard. I respected her will and strength throughout everything. She will truly be missed by all of us. Love you, Aunt Kath.

  9. I will truly miss Kathleen. We were childhood friends hanging out at lake Demmon when we were just teenagers. The entire McEntee family was just wonderful to me. They were really great folks. It was a little over a year and a half ago I reunited with Kathleen at that wonderful cottage on the lake. We had such a great time catching up. I was So happy to see Kathleen and couldn’t believe the cottage still belonged to the McEntee family. I will always hold Kathleen, Nora and Tim and the entire McEntee family close to my heart. Thank you all for embracing me and making me part of your family. Love ya – Buggs

  10. “Sending our sympathy of the loss of your beloved Kathleen. May you find comfort in knowing your dear one is safe in Jehovah God and Jesus who will remember every detail about her.” Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe out every tear from your eyes death will be no more.” We hope many prayers may comfort you.

  11. Kath, I was so saddened to hear of your passing. From meeting you and your family when we first started coming to The Lake and all through the many years, you were always so friendly and funny and loving. It was always so nice to see you when you were at the lake. Patrick and Molly, you are the light of your mother’s eyes. ever since the time you were so young when I first met you, your mom was always so proud of you guys and loved having you guys at the lake. Even when she was staying at the lake recently she was always so happy when she talked about you kids and how much she loves her grand babies. I am so so very sorry about your loss and hope you find some comfort in knowing how amazing of a woman your mom was and will always be.
Also to Tim and Nora and the rest of the family, I am so sorry for your loss as well, she’s in good hands back with your parents and Pat and Mike, they will guide her ♡
    We love you guys. Xo

  12. I just saw this obituary and I am sure it has to be the same Kathleen who played with my youngest sister when they were very young. To this day my family still talks about how my sister, Ellen Foreman, would always call out to Kathleen. She would quite loudly say Kath A Leeeen. I bet they were no more than 6 or 7. We lived on Church Street in Hornell. I am sorry for you loss. We lost our sister Ellen 11 years ago now so I know of the grief you are feeling. May she be in Peace now with angels surrounding her.
