Our deepest pryaers are with you and your family. We enjoyed the fists to George when he was our fathers/inlaw roommate at Hornell Gardens. Love, The Horton family
Many fond memories of George, a great family friend and a great man. We always looked forward to him stopping by my Aunt’s house on the holidays as he would entertain us and have us in stitches. We had a ball on trips to Notre Dame and our Florida trip to Orlando. Truly a “One and Done”! God Bless George and his family!
My sincere sympathy to George’s family. Hard to believe he is gone but I know he was not well. I can still picture him walking his dog up Jane St. Since I left Hornell I didn’t see him often, but when we did see him he would catch up on our family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you on the passing of George. We knew he wasn’t well, and now he is at peace.
So sad to learn of George’s passing. Didn’t see much of him after we retired from our respective jobs, but we’ll always be twin brothers from different parents.
I want to extend condolences to George’s family on behalf of his fellow PEF members at the NYS Dept. of Transportation. George served on PEF;s DOT State-wide LM committee for several years. He was a gentleman who shared thoughtful advice. He sincerely represented his members and exemplified the kind of representation all working people deserve. He will be missed.
To Georges’, family and friends, my prayers and sympathies. George was a great fellow. I knew George thru his union PEF, where he was a strong advocate for the workers and then retirees. His sense of humor always made us laugh. Rest in Peace, George.
