THERESA M. LOVELAND

PRATTSBURGH-Theresa M. Loveland, 69, of County Road 7, passed away, after a long battle with leukemia, early Monday morning (Oct. 8, 2012) at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
Born in Wayland on May 22, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Lunette Swan Rauber.
A resident of Prattsburgh for most of her life, Theresa was employed at Westinghouse in Bath before she began her employment of many years as office manager at A.B. Cowles in Wayland.
She attended the Avoca United Methodist Church and is survived by her church family who she dearly loved and respected.
Theresa enjoyed flowers, gardening as well as her yard.
Her family includes her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, Donald; her faithful dog, Susie; her two nephews, Douglas Schutz of Savona and Ted (Darlene) Loveland of Wayland; her niece, Vicky Loveland Johnson of Avoca; also her great nieces and nephews and her special friends Sande and Bill Thomas of Ithaca.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Donald Rauber.
Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. today (Wednesday) and from 11 a.m. to Noon Thursday at the Avoca Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Avoca, where a funeral service will be held following calling hours at Noon Thursday, with the Rev. Sande Thomas officiating. Committal services and interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery, Avoca.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in her memory to the B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge, 1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, N.Y. 14620.

  1. Theresa, I will truly miss our chats in your driveway during my morning walks. You were a wonderful neighbor and friend. God must have needed you more. No doubt, you are already busy working in the flower gardens in heaven. Rest in peace.
