  1. Laurie was a truly remarkable woman, mother and friend. We have been friends for 35 years and my heart hurts deeply at the loss of such a kind, gentle and compassionate person. She will truly be missed.

  2. Rich,
You have been in my prayers since I heard of lauries death. Unfortunately I know all too well the hurt you are feeling right now having lost my husband very unexpectedly a little over two years ago. I pray that in time, memories of her bring you smiles and not tears. If you ever want a neutral party to talk to you have my ear. Hang tight to your friends, your family, and your faith. They will all see you through this. Your old morrison-knudsen sidekick

  3. Rick and Family,
Many prayers and thoughts are with you and yours. Laurie was a beautiful and phenominal person inside and out.

  4. I was saddened to learn of Laurie’s passing.I worked with her at the bank in the early 80’s. We had many laughs and many disagreements. I remember going to a training with her in Syracuse during a snow storm and how scared we were driving home, but we made it. She showed a lot of professionalism in her job. She will be greatly missed by the community.

  5. So very sorry to hear of Laurie’s passing. She was a truly kind and thoughtful person and I will remember her fondly. Sad that I am not in town to be able to properly pay respects but I will pray for her entire family so that God will give them comfort in this devastating time.
